At Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, Innovation Comes Naturally: Announcing the New All-Natural Charbroiled Chicken Breast Fillet

Premium restaurant sister chains become first major quick service
restaurants to offer all-natural beef and chicken on their menus

options at consumer-friendly prices, today added to its
industry-leading, all-natural menu with the introduction of the
all-natural charbroiled chicken breast fillet, now available at
restaurant locations nationwide.

While the chains are perhaps best known for their creative and decadent
charbroiled burger offerings, Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s have also emerged
as fast food pioneers in the area of all-natural, better-for-you
proteins. Both Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s were the first major fast food
restaurants to offer an all-natural,
grass-fed beef burger
, with no added hormones, antibiotics, or
steroids, in 2014, a feat still not rivaled to this day.
Carl’s Jr. also introduced the industry’s first line of All-Natural
Charbroiled Turkey Burgers
in 2015.

all-natural beef among major fast food chains in 2014 with the
introduction of our grass-fed, All-Natural Beef Burger, with no added
hormones, steroids or antibiotics, and Carl’s Jr. followed it up last
year with a line of All-Natural Charbroiled Turkey Burgers, two
innovations that have yet to be duplicated by our competitors. Now, in
2016, we are happy to announce the addition of all-natural chicken
breast fillets to our menu, which are skinless and charbroiled for
better flavor. While they are all-natural so you can feel better about
eating them, we offer a line of delicious charbroiled chicken sandwich
options to choose from so you never have to sacrifice taste.”

The new chicken breast fillet is minimally processed with no artificial
additives or preservatives and will be available on all of the chains’
charbroiled chicken sandwiches. Both Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s will offer
the all-natural chicken breast fillets on the Charbroiled Chicken Club™
Sandwich and the Charbroiled BBQ Chicken™ Sandwich, and Carl’s Jr. will
also do so on its famous Charbroiled Santa Fe Chicken™ Sandwich topped
with a sliced Anaheim chili. All of these items will maintain their
current price points starting at about $5, although individual prices
may vary by location.
