cannabis marketplace. The study, which BDS will begin fielding the
last week of September, will establish benchmarks for retailers to
evaluate their business versus peer companies. The study will also

better understanding the opportunities and challenges in the retail

available market statistics by focusing on category and product trends,
store operations, and the dynamics of running a cannabis retail business

Specifically, store size, sales per square foot, operating expense
allocation, sales by category, top selling brands, and business
challenges will be amongst the areas covered in the study.
As part of the study, BDS’ management team will tour dispensaries and
conduct in-person interviews with retailers around Colorado.
