Finish Line Customers Showcase Basketball Skills with #TheFundamentals

Company partners with Under Armour, NBA players and social
influencers to deliver comprehensive consumer-focused digital campaign

INDIANAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–For the second year in a row, customers of athletic retailer The Finish
Line, Inc. (NASDAQ: FINL) will demonstrate their superior basketball
skills via social media platforms by using #theFundamentals. The digital
entries will be judged by a select group of prominent, up and coming NBA

“This contest showcases our comprehensive, digital engagement campaign
and focuses directly on our target customers and what matters to them,”

social media influencers and elite professional athletes, we will engage
with these consumers online and watch them share their talent with
Finish Line’s digital community on a high level.”

As the NBA season kicks off, basketball fans can get in the middle of
the action by submitting videos of them performing basketball skills
using #TheFundamentals on Instagram or sending them to @finishlineusa on

Each week, the contest will focus on a different fundamental:

  • Dunking: Nov. 2-8 judged by Jerian Grant, New York Knicks
  • Shooting: Nov. 9-15 judged by Patty Mills, San Antonio Spurs
  • Dribbling: Nov. 16-22 judged by Delon Wright, Toronto Raptors
  • All Around Skills: Nov. 23-29 judged by Greivis Vasquez, Milwaukee

Individuals who submit their videos will have the chance to travel to
Under Armour’s headquarters in Baltimore, Md., where they will meet with
a designer to create a one-of-a-kind pair of Micro G Pros.

Since mid-October, several popular Finish Line sneaker influencers have
teased the campaign. These influencers, along with the athletes, will
continue to connect with customers and the brand throughout the
competition by sharing contest information and promoting their favorite

Once each category’s finalists are determined by the judges, fans can
vote for the overall winner on Finish

beginning November 30. The ultimate winner will be
