Card selected from thousands as a top choice for students looking to
build credit

Federal Credit Union
’s FirstCard
Visa Platinum
was recognized for the second year in a row by MONEY
on their list of “Best Credit Cards”. One of 14 cards
selected from thousands of cards in five categories, the product was
touted as a top choice for consumers seeking to build or restore credit. MONEY
collaborated with personal finance site, NerdWallet
to choose cards that provide financially sound benefits for first-time
borrowers, including no annual fees and low interest rates.

“We’re pleased that MONEY magazine has once again recognized our
FirstCard as a top choice for students,” said President/CEO of Northwest
Federal Chris McDonald. “Our FirstCard is designed to start students off
on the road to financial success as adults by keeping their credit limit
low, providing a fixed-rate APR, and incorporating financial education
in the process through our online qualification quiz about credit.”

MONEY’s annual list includes cards in an array of categories, all
delivering exceptional benefits to card holders. The cards go through a
rigorous vetting process and represent the best options available for a
variety of consumer needs. The full article can
