Event to feature book signing of sports star’s new inspirational novel
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#BAM—Tim Tebow, popular sports personality and author, will celebrate
the launch of his powerful new book, “Shaken:
Discovering Your True Identity in the Midst of Life’s Storms” on Friday,
October 28 at 12 p.m. at Books-A-Million in Jacksonville,
located at the Orange Park Mall at 1910 Wells Road.
As a two-time national champion, first-round NFL draft pick, Heisman
trophy winner, professional baseball player, college football analyst
and author, Tebow’s long line of accolades may lead some to believe life
has never dealt him a wrong hand. Despite the fame and fortune, the
popular athlete knows personally the trials and tribulations of
rejection and broken dreams. Following an exceptional college football
career with the University of Florida and a promising playoff run with
the Denver Broncos, Tebow was traded to the New York Jets and released
after only one season. Through it all, Tebow clung to the truth that his
identity is based on God alone and not the world around him.
In the riveting and honest “Shaken: Discovering Your True Identity in
the Midst of Life’s Storms,” Tebow passionately shares glimpses of his
journey and candidly speaks about how he stays grounded in the face of
disappointment, criticism and intense media scrutiny. The inspirational
book also features practical wisdom from Scripture and insights gained
from others who have impacted him in life-changing ways.
Wristbands are required to attend the author event and are available
online at tebowbam.eventbrite.com
or at the Orange Park Mall Books-A-Million store starting Tuesday,
October 25, while supplies last. Wristbands include admission
to the event, as well as a copy of “Shaken.” Upon arrival, attendees
with pre-purchased wristbands will queue to receive a copy of the new
book (limit of three copies per person).
