Rock the Vote Announces Partnership With bebe to Engage Young Women in the 2016 Election

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Rock the Vote, the largest non-profit and non-partisan organization in
the United States driving the youth vote to the polls, today announced a
partnership with contemporary women’s apparel line bebe stores, inc.
(NASDAQ:BEBE). The partnership will focus on engaging young women in the
political process through education, voter registration and voting.


From today until the 2016 Presidential Election—exactly one year—bebe
will help spread messaging around the importance of voting through a
variety of programs that encourage civic participation. Online bebe
shoppers will notice a new tab on its homepage that provides an online
voter registration form and frequently asked questions about voting such
as ones polling locations, as well as stories from real bebe women about
why voting is important to them.

In addition, bebe will join Rock the Vote for its Rock the Vote Bus Tour
launching in Fall 2016. The Bus Tour will make stops at over 40 college
campuses across the country and feature onsite voter registration
activations. bebe will also be featured at Rock the Vote’s Democratic
National Convention and Republican National Convention, a cultural
content video and through social media.

of voting.
