TechHire Spring Break Bootcamp is Creating Awareness around Tech Careers for All Miami

MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–New Horizons South Florida, TechLaunch @Florida Vocational Institute and
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami join forces to increase the level of
awareness and skills in IT by giving Miami high school students the
opportunity to learn Coding, Networking, and practice in a Technology
Lab – funded by CareerSource South Florida and the TechHire.Miami
initiative. The program is free for all qualified students and designed
to serve low-income and minority youth.

The Tech Bootcamp is designed to expose students to different career
paths and opportunities in the tech industry. “It’s a tech world, and we
need to equip our youth with hands-on learning and educate them on how
technology is relevant to succeed in future jobs,” said Arnie Girnun

The skills in the field of Information Technology are quickly becoming
requirements for more and more careers, while demand for highly skilled
tech professionals is on the rise. Starting here in Miami, this

developing their digital skills and pointing the way to the
